Just in case you want to take a break from reading and check out a speaking event, The Minimalists are coming to Cincinnati in June

  2. Thanks for this and thanks for giving me the idea to read Isabel Allende’s The Japanese Lover next 🙂 I’m currently reading Margaret Atwood’s The Heart Goes Last and I’m really enjoying it. I’ve just finished reading Jon McGregor’s Even the Dogs. His other novel, If nobody speaks of remarkable things, was already one of my all-time favourites. Only took me about 14 years to read another book by him and it’s an incredible piece of literature at every single level. Painfully beautiful.

  4. Of course! I flew through The Japanese Lover. I’ve only read Atwood’s Handmaid’s Tale and love her style. Thanks for the suggestions!
